Isn't it funny?

Don't you think that when you're more lonely or bored, you always return to projects that you started a long time ago, or start writing in your diary more, or carry on reading that book you forgot about months ago, or write a new blog post! It's funny when you look back at what you've written and compare that time in your life to the season you're in now. A timeline of events runs through your mind as you think about the changes; the highs and lows of life. I've not written anything too personal in the past and I don't plan on pouring my heart out now...but I will share some of my experiences of this past year.

I finished my role on CU commmittee around the same time that I started going out with my boyfriend, Colin. We've now been together 6 months and its been wonderful. Finding out that the love of your life and your best friend can be the same person is amazing! I will move on before your barf all over your keyboards.

In other news: I passed my second year with a 2:1 which I was happy with...and now I am just about to commence my tird and final year. 10,000 word dissertation here we come...can't flipping wait for that.

Other bits and pieces: we moved house and downsized and the family flat is looking great! 2 of my friends got engaged, and one is getting married next month...EXCITING! I also have a new job, working for Lush (the soap shop) which I'm really looking forward to...change is good!

My Mum and Dad are celebrating their 25th Wedding Anniversary next weekend and are throwing a big party for our family and friends which will be fantastic. There will be food, music, photographs and time well spent with friends. They've asked Colin and I, as well as some others to sing. I have put a video at the end for a sneak preview of one of the songs we'll be singing!

Anyway, its getting late. Perhaps I will write something a little more insightful next time...but I'm not promising anything.

Well, here's the video- that's something I did promise!
